    Description

    This  fold out contains a map of the Union of South Africa and a large number of small ads with basic information and black and white photos of hotels all over the country. The folder is not dated, but since the country's name changed to the Republic of South Africa in 1961, it must be before that date, most likely before or after World War II. The back is stamped "Travel Department, Wachovia Bank and Trust Co." (?!) Unfolded, the brochure measures 34 by 21 inches. There are some tears on the fold lines and red areas have toned the white areas on the reverse side.
